Retrieve OAuth 2.0 credentials for the Management API
You can use OAuth 2.0 to authenticate Management API requests. First, use your client ID and client secret to obtain an access token. Then, include the access token and the app key in each Management API request.
NoteIf your Management API connector was created before OAuth 2.0 authentication was available, you might not see the Client ID field and the Generate Client Secret button in the Monitor. In that case, contact your ecosio Integration Engineer to enable OAuth 2.0 authentication.
To retrieve the client ID, client secret, and app key:
-
In the Monitor, go to the Connectors page.
-
In the Management API Connectors table, select on the row of the connector you want to retrieve the credentials for.
-
In the OAuth 2.0 credentials section, select next to Client ID.
-
Select Generate Client Secret.
-
Select Generate Client Secret to confirm the action.
-
Select next to Client secret.
-
Select Close.
-
Select next to App key.
