Set up e-invoicing in Slovakia

The following steps must be performed before you can start using e-invoicing in Slovakia:

  1. You must register on the Slovak Financial Administration e-invoicing portal and select ecosio as your digital postman. For more information, see PFS – Používateľská príručka PDS (only available in Slovak).

    Warning

This step is essential. You must register on the portal yourself because ecosio legally can't do it on your behalf.

  2. The portal issues an authorisation token linked to your DIČ that confirms you authorised ecosio as your digital postman.
  3. The portal sends your DIČ and the token to ecosio automatically.
  4. After receiving the token, ecosio registers you in the centralised Slovak SMP.
  5. Once the SMP accepts the registration, you are authorised for compliant Slovak e-invoicing and reporting.

    Note

Your Peppol participant ID is 0245:<your 10-digit DIČ>.

  6. ecosio's onboarding team works with you to enable and map the required document types that you need to send and receive.

Warning

The authorisation token issued by the FS has an expiration date. When the token expires, the FS declines TDDs sent by ecosio on your behalf. You must renew your consent for ecosio to act as your digital postman. When you do that, ecosio automatically receives the new token and registers it in your SMP record.
