Connect to Saudi Arabia's platform
To connect to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's (KSA) Fatoora platform, you must first register your Electronic Generation Solution (EGS) with ZATCA and obtain the necessary credentials. ecosio will then use these credentials to configure the country-specific protocol connectors in the Monitor, which enables direct communication with Fatoora.
Prerequisites
Before you set up the protocol connector, you must:
- Be a VAT-registered entity in KSA.
- Log in to the Fatoora portal using your VAT credentials.
- Register your Electronic Generation Solution (EGS) in the Fatoora portal, selecting ecosio as the solution provider.
- Generate an OTP (One-Time Password) for the registered EGS unit in the Fatoora portal. The OTP will expire after 60 minutes.
- Prepare the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) input fields required to obtain your Cryptographic Stamp Identifier (CSID).
- Contact your ecosio Integration Engineer to create the connector.
For more information, see ZATCA's Detailed Guidelines for E-invoicing.
Request connector setup
Once you have completed the prerequisites, contact your ecosio Integration Engineer with the following information:
- Your VAT registration number
- The OTP generated from the Fatoora portal
- CSR input field values
- The document types your solution will generate
They will create a connection ticket, which you can use to track the implementation status of the connector from the Onboardings page.
Renew your CSID
To maintain continuous e-invoicing in KSA, you must periodically renew your CSID before it expires. CSIDs issued by ZATCA have a validity period of 5 years. ecosio will send you an email when your token is close to its expiry date. You can generate a new OTP from the Fatoora portal.
Warning
Don't wait for your CSID to expire. Renew it in advance to avoid unexpected errors.
