Edit a user
You can edit a userās information and permissions. You can also deactivate the user and enable or disable multifactor authentication for the user.
To edit a user:
- In the Monitor, go to the company settings by doing one of the following:
- From your user menu, select Company.
- Select Settings from the sidebar.
- Select the Team tab.
- (Optional) Filter the displayed team members:
- In the Search for mail or name field, enter one or more characters contained anywhere in the userās name or email address.
- In the company drop-down, select a company.
- In the Permissions drop-down, select a permission.
- In the Status drop-down, select the status of the user.
- In the MFA drop-down, select whether multifactor authentication is enabled for the user.
- In the User origin drop-down, select the origin of the userās login.
- To clear the selected filters, select .
- In the Team members section, select on the row of the user you want to edit.
- (Optional) Edit the first name or last name.
- (Optional) Activate or deactivate the user using the Active toggle in the Status field.
- (Optional) Enable or disable time-based one-time password (TOTP) for the user.
- (Optional) Select the permissions you want to enable for the user.
- Select Save.
