The following section describes the document types and formats used in Slovakia.

Document formats and types

Slovakia requires e-invoices to comply with the EN 16931 format. The following formats are used:

• Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 for invoices and credit notes.
• Peppol BIS Self-Billing 3.0 for self-billed invoices and credit notes.
• Peppol SK Tax Data Document for reporting.

If you use VRBL, VRBL-Invoice-SK-PeppolBIS-3p0 automatically maps to Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 and Peppol BIS Self-Billing 3.0 for Slovakia. For AR invoices that contain the supplier's IČ DPH, ecosio generates the SK TDD regardless of the input format.
