Compliance transactions
Compliance transactions refers to required methods for delivering electronic documents as mandated by governments, such as e-invoicing and e-transport. They help governments gain real-time visibility into transactions to reduce the VAT gap, which is the difference between expected and collected VAT revenue. Each country's regulations differ by formats, required fields, and the platforms used for transmission.
Connecting your compliance transactions
You can use the Monitor to provide your government platform credentials by setting up country-specific protocol connectors. This enables ecosio to exchange all your compliant documents. This information is then displayed in the Monitor, so you can access and manage all your documents from one place. Your ecosio Integration Engineer can also integrate your ERP or business software to receive documents from ecosio.
When you generate a document in your ERP or business software, ecosio receives it and converts it from its original format to the format required by the country's platform. The document is then encrypted and sent in the compliant format to the relevant government platform or network.
You can find each transmitted document on the Message page, which provides a complete list of your messages. In the message details, the E-invoice essentials section contains all relevant information for the document, such as the validation result URL. You can also download PDFs and technical details from this section.
