Manage API credentials

Copy your credentials and generate a new user key for your API connector on the Connectors page. Use this key to authenticate with the ecosio API.

Note
Generating a new user key immediately invalidates the previous key. Update any applications that use this connector with the new key to avoid errors.

To copy your credentials:

In the Monitor, select Connectors.
Select on the row of the API connector you want to generate credentials for.
Select next to the URL, user ID, or app key you want to copy.

To generate your API credentials:

In the Monitor, select Connectors.
Select on the row of the API connector you want to generate credentials for.
In the API Credentials section, select Generate User Key.
Select Generate User Key again to confirm.
Select to copy the user key. Save it securely because you won’t see it again. If you lose it, contact ecosio or generate a new key.
