Manually upload a message

You can upload a single message file from the Monitor for testing or to send it to the receiver.

Prerequisites

To upload a manual message, ensure:

• ecosio has enabled manual message upload in your Monitor. You can confirm this if you can see Upload Manual Messages in Messages.
• You have the Message operations permission
• You are not a partner company. Manual message upload is also disabled for sub-companies.

Upload the file

1. In the Monitor, select Messages.
2. Select Upload.
3. Select the file you want to upload.
4. (Optional) Select Send Message if you want to forward the message to the receiver. If you don’t select it, ecosio uploads the message for testing and does not send it to the receiver.
5. Select Upload.

You’ll be redirected to the message details where you can see the message processing status. If you see an error message, ecosio could not determine message ownership. This can also happen if you upload a file you don’t own.
