Company structure overview

The Monitor provides parent and sub-company views to account for your organisation's structure.

A sub‑company structure is useful when:

  • Your organisation already has an existing parent and subsidiary company structure. For example, Import-Export GmbH might include Import-Export Electronics and Import-Export Groceries.
  • Your organisation is a conglomerate, and each company underneath is based in a different country or region. For example, Production Inc. might include Production Inc. EU as a sub-company, which includes Production Inc. Germany as another sub-company.

You must have the relevant permissions to view specific parent and sub-companies. Contact your ecosio Integration Engineer to request a new sub-company.

Switching company views

Use the dropdown in the Monitor to switch between the parent company and a sub-company. The dropdown is displayed on all menu pages. To show sub‑companies, select Include sub‑companies.

Company dropdown in the Monitor.

Parent company view shows information for the parent and all its sub‑companies. Sub‑company view shows information only for that sub‑company and its sub‑companies.
