The Monitor lets you download a CSV file from the Messages overview. This is useful when you need to review message metadata outside the Monitor, for example to compare it with your ERP or business software.

When you download the CSV, the Monitor exports all messages that match your current filters and view settings, including results beyond the first page.

Limits and retention

• You can download up to 1,000,000 rows in a single CSV.
• The CSV only includes messages that are still within the retention period (3 months).

The CSV uses a fixed set of English column headers. Your column configuration in the Messages overview does not change which columns are included in the CSV.

Download the CSV

To download a CSV file of messages:

1. In the Monitor, select Messages.
2. Apply the filters you need.
3. Select Download Messages CSV.

When the file is ready, your browser downloads it automatically.

Additional sender/receiver identifiers in the CSV

The downloaded Messages CSV also always includes additional sender and receiver identifiers so you can more easily reconcile exported data in external systems.

The export includes both:

• Routing sender/receiver (name + ID)
• Document sender/receiver (name + internal ID)

These columns are always included in the CSV, regardless of which columns you have shown or hidden in the Messages table.

If a value is not available for a specific message, the CSV shows N/A.
